The crowning glory of my first year at CCAD, for design class.
This bad motherfucker is made of blue foam, spackle, newspaper, papier mache, resin, cardboard, masking tape, acrylic, fabric, wire, sculpey, blood, sweat, and tears. He took several weeks to carve and fabricate, and the last of those weeks was spent pretty solidly working on nothing else at all. He's Celtic and Nordic inspired.
He is perfectly balanced by the heavy mane of torn muslin and sits on the top of the head, while the wearer looks out of his mouth.
would it be ok if i tired to make this for my own project? we are doing paper mache but i dont like the ideas that my teacher showed us. So i decided to do a mask but i need asomething to go off of. All credit will go to you and it wont be exactly like this... in fact it should be much smaller.
OHMYOHMYOHMY!!!!!I FREAKIN' LOVE IT! It's just brilliant! If I had one, I would be so tempted to wear it every day!
If you don't mind me asking, how do you like CCAD? I plan on applying next year, so I've been trying to gather more information on it. Recently Ive been hearing so much positive feedback from people, about CCAD. I'll be going for illustration, so I know you probably wont be able to say much for that department. I was just wondering how has your overall experience been?

Draco: You know, using the potty is a GREAT time to socialize! You just look over to the stall next to you, and you just have a right chat with your neighbor! \'Oh! Hello there! First time using the potty too, eh? Pfffft. Good luck, my man. --- Allons-y!
How funny, I'm actually an illustration major. CCAD's illustration department is really very good, very rigorous, very focused on learning the basics like anatomy and professional practices before venturing on to more complex things. I've enjoyed myself so far. I'm only a sophomore, but I'd say that the overall experience has been quite rewarding. I definitely recommend it.

Look, they gave me a badge with my name on it, in case I forget who I am. Very thoughtful, as that does happen.
