Mister Dickens

This is Mr. Dickens.

He is a manticore, and he is educated. He thinks this makes him better than the "lower animals" and takes great pride in it. He named himself-- he has amassed a great collection of books over his long life, mostly stolen around the time that the British East India Company started nudging its way into his native India. He has an obsession with acting civilized.

His habit used to be to lurk near paths in secluded jungle areas, and snare passersby. He would have long conversations with them, and if they conversed intelligently and well, he occasionally let them go. Usually, he ate them.

Now he consults with DPI, and lives there. He likes his tea, and quite insists that all but his closest companions call him Mister Dickens.
